Highlighting Diabetes Awareness Month and the Connection Between Food Insecurity and Diabetes

Join the Institute and Cities for Better Health-Houston for a workshop on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, to raise awareness for Diabetes Awareness Month. We will discuss the connection between food insecurity and diabetes, along with providing valuable information on resources and education related to diabetes care, prevention, and management. The Urban Harvest Mobile Farmer’s Market will also be on-site, offering fresh, nutritious, and affordable products, with SNAP access and Double Up Houston.
